About Untouch Destination
A small travel company from Chandigarh, taking people to the places mass tourism hasn't reached yet.
About Untouch DestinationUntouch Destination
Untouchdestination started with a curiosity about the world that demanded to be explored and was born out of a love for adventure, connection and discovery .
We bring these essential values into each of our trips which are lovingly curated through connections that members of the Untouch community form with people or places during their own travels.
So each of our destinations means something personal to us.
We love travel because it never fails to take us outside of our comfort zone and pushes us to experience the world and ourselves beyond our wildest dreams.
The experiences that charm us range from questioning yourself when faced with the towering might of a Himalayan mountain, to sitting quietly with a local elder who has never been outside their village, to tasting the bursting flavours of a regional dish you’ve never heard of before, to dancing at a festival thousands of years old.
The list is endless, but each experience has broadened our perspective into the depth and brilliance of our world and untouchdestination is our way of sharing it with you.

Where does Untouch fit into this?
Our adventurers have found that the places we feel the greatest connection to are those more untouched by mass tourism. These places have preserved their originality and authenticity, and so it is where we get to go outside of our comfort zone.
While it might seem hypocritical for a travel company to avoid tourist places and promote tourism in such regions—considering it could one day lead to their loss of originality—it is for this very reason that we value sustainable tourism greatly.
Sustainable tourism is about travelling in a conscious and intentional way, leaving as little negative impact as possible.
The problem of tourism affecting the originality of places isn’t black and white. We can’t say that just because tourism has negative impacts, we shouldn’t do it. Instead, we must find ways to reduce these impacts—because tourism also creates a lot of value.
Not only do travellers benefit, but local communities do too—if done in the right way. Tourism has the ability to boost the economy of an area and provide access to opportunities that may not otherwise exist.
It also gives people the opportunity to interact with others from different backgrounds. Of course, this is only beneficial if the local communities want this to happen.
That’s why making personal connections with the communities we work with is so important to us. By building these connections, we are able to create trust, understand their needs, and ensure the best exchange between them and our travellers.
Another major impact of tourism is on the environment.
Our trips revolve around nature, and while it offers us breathtaking beauty, it is often a local pain point. For this reason, we always remember to show gratitude and respect to our environment and operate with a “leave no waste” policy.
We believe a significant reason why humans have such a negative impact on the environment is because we are disconnected from it. It’s hard to care about recycling your plastic when you don’t see it building up along a river.
Through our trips, we aim to bring people back into connection with nature—so that they are able to develop a deeper sense of care and responsibility.
About RaviRavi
Our founder, Ravi, spent his childhood split between the bursting metropolis of Delhi and his familial village in rural Haryana. From a young age he witnessed the vast diversity and multitude manifestations of our world.
As he grew into adulthood, his yearning to learn more about the world developed into a profound connection to travel. Ravi found that as he travelled, not only did he learn about the world, but he learned about himself. He discovered his ability to make connections with people and nature wherever he went. With this ability, the world opened up to him.
Having discovered this, Ravi felt compelled to start a travel community. He wanted to share the wonders of the world and help people to come into connection from all corners of the earth.
